NQ Care is a 24/7 Emergency and Referral Veterinary Hospital in Townsville, bringing Emergency & Critical Care, Internal Medicine and Surgery together under one roof.
Since opening in January 2025, our hospital and caseload have continued to grow, and with the addition of a second surgeon we're looking for experienced veterinary nurses to join our Referral team.
We're looking for nurses interested in Internal Medicine and surgery. You might want to develop expertise within one department, or enjoy the variety and learning that comes from working across referral disciplines. We're open to building the role around where your interests lie.
What we're looking for:
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent; higher studies a plus)
- At least 2 years' full-time nursing experience, with 3 years preferred
- A desire to work with complex cases as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team
- Strong teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills
- Compassion, adaptability and a commitment to excellent patient and client care
