The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Casual Vet Nurse to join our dedicated team. This is a dynamic, multi-faceted role providing cover over the coming months across nurse consults, reception, surgical nursing, and running anaesthetics.
Key Details:
- Roster: 3 days per week plus every third weekend, with availability for after-hours/on-call work and coverage for team sick and annual leave.
- Caseload: A balanced mix of nurse consults, client-facing reception, surgical nursing, and anaesthetic monitoring.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualifications: Animal Care Certificate (Level II or III) or Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent).
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of veterinary nursing experience.
Key Skills:
- Competent in surgical nursing and monitoring/running anaesthetics.
- Comfortable with occasional sole-charge responsibilities.
- Strong communication and customer service skills for reception and client consults.
- A reliable, flexible team player ready to jump in where needed.
