Are you an experienced veterinary nurse looking for your next challenge? Port City Emergency Vets is a growing, non-corporate emergency hospital in Palmyra, and we're looking for both permanent and casual Veterinary Nurses to join our expanding team. We provide 24/7 emergency care in a purpose-built hospital equipped with CT, ultrasound, ICU, surgery and more, giving our nurses the opportunity to work with a diverse and rewarding emergency caseload.

What we're looking for:

Minimum 3 years of veterinary nursing experience.
Emergency experience is a bonus but not essential - we're happy to support the right person.
A positive, reliable team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Great communication skills and a genuine passion for patient care.

You'll be involved in:

Emergency and critical care nursing
Triage and stabilisation of emergency patients
Anaesthetic monitoring and surgical nursing
Caring for hospitalised and critical care patients
Overnight nursing and inpatient monitoring
Diagnostic imaging, pathology and IV catheter placement
Compassionate client communication and reception duties

Shifts available:

We're primarily looking for nurses to cover:

Evening shifts (approximately 4:00pm - 12:30am).
Weekend day and night shifts.
Overnight shifts (12:00am - 6:45am).
