About Us
City Beach Veterinarians is an independent small animal practice in Perth, with a long history of caring for pets and their families in City Beach and the surrounding suburbs.
The practice has been operating since 1991 and has been owned by veterinarians Dr Neville Robertson and Dr Alan Wade for more than 21 years. In 2025, we moved into a new purpose-built veterinary hospital in Doubleview, providing our growing team with a modern environment in which to care for our patients and clients.
We’re a friendly and experienced team, with many of our staff having worked with us for years. That longevity is important to us. We want people to enjoy being part of the practice, continue developing their skills and become valued, long-term members of the team.
Our veterinary team has experience across a broad range of small animal medicine and surgery, and our purpose-built hospital is equipped with digital radiology, ultrasound, an in-house laboratory, surgical and dental facilities and modern patient monitoring equipment. We’re fortunate to have wonderful clients who genuinely care about their pets and appreciate the standard of veterinary care we provide.
Our nurses are an important part of that care. They’re actively involved in patient care, client communication and nurse consultations rather than simply working behind the scenes, and we encourage them to keep building their skills, confidence and responsibilities as they develop.
City Beach Veterinarians has a sister practice, Forrestdale Veterinary Hospital, which opened in 2018. The two practices work closely together, with team members working across both locations when required.
