Ever Thought, "If This Were My Hospital, I'd Do It Differently"?

Good.

Because we're about to give the right Veterinarian something most vets never get.

The chance to create one from the very beginning.

Orana Clyde Pet Hospital is a brand-new hospital and sister clinic to our established Clyde Veterinary Hospital.

The building will be there.

The equipment will be there.

The systems and standards will be there.

What won’t be there yet?

The team. The culture. The client relationships. The reputation. The rhythm of the place.

That’s what you’ll help us create.

A blank page. But not a blank playbook.

There’s something exciting about starting from scratch.

There’s also something terrifying about being handed the keys and told: “Good luck.”

That’s not what this is.

You’ll have the experience, systems, standards of care and lessons we’ve already developed at Clyde Veterinary Hospital behind you.

You won’t need to reinvent everything we’ve already learned.

But we absolutely want you to help shape what comes next.

What works here?

What needs to be different?

What could we do better?

What kind of team do we want to build?

What do we want clients saying about us five years from now?

You’ll get to help answer those questions.

In the Beginning, You’ll Be Doing the Work

You’ll be the primary veterinarian, working alongside an associate vet.

You’ll consult. Work cases.

Meet clients. Help attract new ones.

Help recruit your nursing team.

Solve problems. Build relationships.

And gradually help establish what this practice becomes known for.

This isn’t a management job disguised as a veterinary job.

You’ll still be a vet.

A very important one.

What Do We Want to Build?

A hospital known for excellent veterinary medicine.

High standards. Great people. Clear systems. Clients who trust us.

And a team that keeps getting better.

We already have established standards of care and operational systems. You won't be starting without a foundation.

But we absolutely want your thinking.

See something that could work better?

Tell us.

Have an idea?

Bring it.

Think we're wrong?

Challenge us.

Confidence matters here. Ego doesn’t.

The Kind of Vet Who Will Love This

You love veterinary medicine.

You enjoy solving the riddle of a difficult case.

You want to keep developing clinically, even as you develop as a leader.

You advocate for the best medicine for the animal.

You make the recommendation you believe is clinically right.

Explain it clearly.

Then work with the owner to make the best decision for them and their pet.

You're also someone who naturally sees how things could be better.

A better system.

A better client conversation.

A better way to manage a case.

A better way to develop someone on the team.

And you're prepared to do something about it.

That's How We Work…

See the problem.

Understand it.

Bring a solution.

Make the solution better.

That's the kind of thinking we want to bring into Orana Clyde Pet Hospital from day one.

And Then Something Interesting Happens...

You build the hospital.

Clients start coming.

The team grows.

We add another vet. Then another.

And gradually your job begins to change.

Less time doing everything yourself.

More time developing people.

Improving the hospital.

Finding opportunities.

Raising standards.

And leading something you helped create.

That's very different from walking into someone else's hospital with "Lead Veterinarian" written on your contract.

Let's Be Clear About the Reality

Starting something from scratch isn't for everyone.

There will be days when something doesn't work.

You'll change it.

There will be systems that look good on paper and don't survive contact with reality.

You'll improve them.

There will be problems nobody has encountered before.

You'll solve them.

You'll also need to be good with people.

You'll need to read the room.

Earn trust.

Communicate clearly.

And bring clients and staff with you.

If you want the title more than you want the responsibility that comes with it, this isn't your role.

But if the thought of looking around a thriving hospital in a few years and knowing...

"I helped build this."

...gives you a little buzz?

We should probably talk.

Where Could This Take You?

We're not corporate.

You'll have direct access to the owners and genuine influence over what this hospital becomes.

We'll invest in your development.

And for the right person, we're open to exploring profit sharing linked to agreed performance targets as the hospital grows.

We're not promising you a predetermined career ladder.

We're offering you the opportunity to help build the ladder.

If Building a Hospital Sounds More Exciting Than Inheriting One...

Don't write us a cover letter.

And don't worry about deciding whether you want the job yet.

If you’ve read this and thought “Geez. I’d love to create that”.

Call or text Albert on 0411 889 945.

Ask questions.

Tell us what you'd build.

Let's start with a conversation.
