You will be joining a proactive and passionate team that thrives on collaboration, growth and creating a supportive environment. This is your chance to work with a fun and dedicated group of professionals who care as much about your development as they do about delivering exceptional care.

This is a full-time role with flexible working arrangements. The position involves 40 hours per week, plus occasional Saturday shifts and weeknight on-call, shared on a rotating roster.

This role offers variety, growth, and the chance to make a genuine difference every day. The clinic is well-equipped with everything you would expect, including digital x-ray, dental x-ray and ultrasound.

As part of the veterinary team, you’ll provide compassionate, expert care to patients, including administering medications, monitoring anaesthesia, and supporting surgical and hospitalised patients. You may also conduct nurse consultations independently and assist in surgeries to ensure smooth procedures.

In your new role, you will guide pet parents by explaining treatment plans and post-care advice clearly, and share your knowledge to mentor team members. Additionally, you’ll help manage supplies, maintain accurate records, and contribute to reception and front-of-house duties, keeping the clinic running smoothly.

– New Zealand working rights

– A Diploma in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)

– Minimum of two years’ experience as a veterinary nurse in a small animal practice

– An interest or confidence in anaesthesia and patient monitoring
