About Us.
Abbotsbury Veterinary Clinic is a boutique family-owned small animal hospital located in South West Sydney. We have strong community ties and are proud of the strong relationships we have developed with our owners and their pets. We take pride in providing high level veterinary care (medicine and surgery) to our patients.
We are looking for an experience vet nurse(2-3 years +) that takes pride in their ability to care for the owners and their pets as well as having strong ability to work in team environment.
Your Usual Day,
Your typical day will include warm friendly interactions with our owners and their pets to ensure they feel heard and cared for. Exceptional patient care from the moment they enter our hospital is expected and delivered. You will be involved in patient care and preparation for procedures including anaesthesia, surgery, dentals and diagnostic imaging as well as in house pathology. You must have a strong commitment to animal welfare as we are proud to be very active in providing premium veterinary care to several rescues. You will be surrounded by a close-knit supportive team with a can-do attitude and a strong collaborative focus.
The Position,
The position is a full time 18 month contract (maternity cover) with the option for permanent position for the right candidate. There will be 1 in 3 Saturday shifts but no Sunday shifts. You will be well renumerated (above award and negotiable) with usual entitlements. Including continuing education and no afterhours.
