About the role
Tauranga Veterinary Services Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Clinical Veterinary Nurse to join our growing Te Puna practice in the heart of Tauranga, Bay of Plenty. As a Clinical Veterinary Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinary team in delivering high-quality veterinary services.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting veterinarians during examinations, procedures, and surgeries
- Administering medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
- Performing laboratory tests, sample collection, and analysis
- Maintaining accurate medical records and patient files
- Providing exceptional customer service and client education
- Ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of the veterinary facility
- Supporting the overall operations of the veterinary practice
What we're looking for
- Formal qualifications as a Veterinary Nurse or Veterinary Technician
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a veterinary clinical setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and the veterinary team
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately
- A genuine passion for animal welfare and a commitment to providing the BestCare
- Full-time availability, including evenings on call and a scheduled weekend roster
