Veterinary Nurse – Join Our Friendly Team.
Moruya Animal Hospital is a privately owned small animal practice located on the NSW South Coast.
We are passionate about providing high-quality patient care. We operate with three experienced veterinarians; one full time and two part-time, in addition to four highly skilled nurses (two full time and two part-time). Sadly, one of our nurses is leaving, and consequently we are looking for an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team.
If you have at least 2 years' experience and are ready to join a growing practice, this could be the role you have been looking for.
What is involved:
No two workdays are the same; our patient caseload is varied and often complex.
The role would include:
- Developing relationships with our clients via nurse consultations, patient admissions and reception support
- Ordering stock and overseeing stock control
- Providing high-quality patient care, for both surgical and hospital patients
- Monitoring anesthesia
- Preparation of surgical instruments
- Performing in-house pathology and radiology
Our client base is loyal, and they genuinely love and want the best for their pets. Our relationship with our clients and the service we provide is what makes our practice special and successful.
We are seeking a compassionate and professional nurse who is passionate about providing excellent patient care. The role is full time (9-day fortnight), but there is an opportunity for flexible rostering for the right candidate.
