Key Responsibilities:
- Be the warm, friendly and professional first point of contact for our clients.
- Welcoming clients and managing the waiting room.
- Manage bookings, appointment scheduling and day to day reception enquiries.
- Manage and action our phone lines and email inbox.
- Submit insurance claims and pre-approvals.
- Process payments and client accounts.
- Act as a key point of contact between our veterinary clinical team and our clients to ensure all communications are clear.
- Build genuine relationships with our clients.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is naturally warm, personable and empathetic.
- Loves providing exceptional customer service and genuinely enjoys working with people.
- Is confident communicating with clients face-to-face, over the phone and via email.
- Can maintain high attention to detail and organisation while balancing multiple priorities.
- Is confident using computers, email and practice management systems.
- Previous reception, administration or customer service experience.
- Clinical or veterinary knowledge is not essential, but would be highly regarded.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who understands that exceptional veterinary care isn’t just about what happens in the consult room - it’s about the entire client experience.
