SASH Alexandria is currently looking for Hospital Attendants to assist our team of highly skilled professionals. You will be essential in ensuring that the standard of animal care, presentation and hygiene of our hospital facilities are maintained at the highest possible level.
We're seeking applicants for Full-Time or Part-Time opportunities, with availability to work across a 7-day roster. As we are a 24-hour facility, this may include a mixture of shifts including nights and weekends.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Maintaining cleanliness of cages and hospital areas
- Setting up clean cages for incoming patients
- Performing daily laundry duties
- Feeding and offering water to animals
- Restocking IV fluids and disposables
- Prioritising tasks in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Demonstrating good communication skills
- Working independently as well as part of a team
