Experienced Veterinary Nurse Wanted!
We're after a nurse with real energy — someone who's passionate about the profession, wants to keep building their skills and career, and genuinely enjoys being part of a team. If that's you, keep reading.
With an increasing caseload and the recent addition of a Specialist Surgeon to our team, we have an additional opportunity for an experienced veterinary nurse to join us across our Bunbury and Eaton clinics in a permanent, full-time role.
Why You'll Love Working With Us
- A roster that respects your life outside work. Full-time hours run over 4 x 9.5-hour days, so you get a weekday off every week for the things that matter to you. Saturday mornings are shared on a 1-in-4 roster and paid at penalty rates.
- Pay that reflects your value. We hire quality people who excel in their work, and we pay competitively to recognise it.
- Genuine investment in your growth. If a CPD opportunity will benefit you and the clinic, we'll help fund it.
- Perks for your own pets too. Generous staff discounts on veterinary care for your fur family.
Day to day, the role covers a mix of surgical and medical nursing, nurse consultations, reception work, and a share of the Saturday morning roster — so no two days look quite the same.
About Us
We're a group of two small animal clinics in the beautiful South West of WA. We're well equipped with all the usual diagnostic and monitoring gear — digital radiography, endoscopy, colour Doppler ultrasound, Surgivet anaesthetic monitoring, and access to a local CT scanner. With our Specialist Surgeon on board and a growing referral base, we also perform arthroscopic and laparoscopic surgery, advanced orthopaedic and soft-tissue procedures, and an ever-expanding range of specialist work.
Our team of experienced vets and qualified nurses is genuinely supportive, and we aim to deliver a high standard of care in a compassionate, friendly environment. We accept referrals from across the South West for orthopaedic and soft-tissue surgery and chemotherapy.
- About YouYou bring a positive, can-do attitude to every part of the role
- You've got a friendly demeanour and a welcoming smile, even on the busy, tough days
- You love building great relationships with clients and communicate with confidence and warmth
- You aim for exceptional customer service, every time
- You hold yourself to high standards of patient and nursing care
- You're a true team player — adaptable, and able to work cohesively with different personalities
- You're committed to ongoing continuing education and growing your career
- You've ideally got two years' experience as a qualified, registered veterinary nurse (12 months will be considered for the right candidate). We currently have several recently qualified nurses on the team, so we're specifically after an experienced nurse who's already built a solid range of competencies to benefit the pets in our care.
