Bunbury Animal Hospital

About Us

Bunbury Animal Hospital has been caring for animals across Bunbury and the South West for more than 50 years. Today, we’re a purpose-built veterinary hospital providing both companion animal and equine care, with separate small animal and equine hospital facilities and a team that includes four experienced equine veterinarians.

Our companion animal hospital is well equipped for a broad medical and surgical caseload, with digital radiography, an in-house laboratory, iM3 dental equipment and dental radiography, endoscopy, ultrasound and orthopaedic equipment. Having companion animal and equine services together gives our team the opportunity to work within a varied clinical environment and be exposed to a diverse range of patients and cases.

Veterinary nurses are an important part of how our hospital operates. Our nursing team is actively involved in patient care, anaesthesia, hospitalisation and procedural cases, and we place a strong emphasis on maintaining high clinical nursing standards. We also value ongoing learning, with professional development, mentoring and opportunities for team members to continue developing their skills and careers.

We’re part of Apiam Animal Health, giving our team access to the resources, professional development opportunities and wider veterinary network of one of Australia’s largest rural veterinary groups, while continuing to care for the local community we’ve served for generations.

For veterinary professionals who enjoy variety, hands-on clinical work and the breadth of a regional hospital environment, Bunbury Animal Hospital offers the chance to be part of an established team with both companion animal and equine services in one workplace.
