Brisbane Bird and Exotics Veterinary Service

Brisbane Bird & Exotics Veterinary Service (BBEVS) is a family-owned veterinary practice dedicated exclusively to birds and exotic animals.

We take our medicine seriously, but not ourselves quite so much. We believe excellent veterinary care comes from curiosity, continual learning, good communication and a team that genuinely supports each other to grow past our comfort zones.

Our patients are varied, our cases can be complex, and no two days look quite the same. We work hard to create a practice where people can think, learn, ask questions and provide thoughtful care, on the backdrop of a busy and interesting caseload.

We value curiosity, honesty, Fear Free and low-stress handling, and the freedom to ask questions without pretending you already know everything. We also value humour, individuality and the fact that there is more than one way for a good brain to work.

We want BBEVS to be somewhere talented people can do interesting work, keep getting better at it, and still be human. As we shape the next phase of the practice, our focus is on remaining proudly independent and creating something sustainable: for our patients, our clients, our team and the future of avian and exotic animal medicine.
