Regular but flexible roster.

Looking for a workplace where you'll be genuinely valued?

One of our wonderful veterinary nurses is heading off on the adventure of a lifetime to Canada (we're very excited for her... even if we're a little jealous!), which means an opportunity has opened up for a part-time Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team at Cronulla Veterinary Clinic.

We're looking for someone who loves nursing, enjoys building genuine relationships with clients, and wants to be part of a team that supports one another every day.

Who are we?

At Cronulla Veterinary Clinic, our mission is simple:

To be the best GP veterinary clinic in the Sutherland Shire by caring for our patients, our clients, our team and our clinic.

We're an independently owned, award-winning practice that believes exceptional veterinary care goes hand-in-hand with exceptional client service.

Our clients trust us because they know we'll always treat their pets as if they were our own. We take the time to explain, educate and work together with pet owners so they can make the best decisions for their furry family members.

We also believe coming to work should be enjoyable. We work hard, support each other, celebrate our wins, and genuinely enjoy being part of a close-knit team.

About the role

We're looking for a qualified Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV) who enjoys all aspects of nursing and takes pride in delivering outstanding patient care.

We are keen to find someone who is passionate about client communication, enjoys educating pet owners, and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care. The ability to work in a sole charge capacity is preferred.

Our nurses are an integral part of every patient journey, from hospital care and surgery to educating clients and advocating for the very best outcomes for our patients.

Our roster is planned in advance; however, as a busy veterinary practice, occasional additional hours may be required to support patient care.

If you enjoy connecting with people just as much as caring for animals, you'll fit right in.

We'd love to meet someone who:

Has a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
Has surgical nursing experience (or is keen to further develop these skills).
Loves providing compassionate patient care.
Enjoys educating and communicating with clients.
Is organised, reliable and has excellent attention to detail.
Works well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
Is kind, respectful and enjoys being part of a collaborative team.
Has a passion for continuing education and professional development.

What you'll love about working with us

We believe our team deserves the same level of care that we provide to our patients.

We offer:

A supportive team of experienced vets and nurses who love teaching and learning from one another.
A modern, purpose-built hospital equipped with digital radiography, dental radiography, iM3 dental equipment, IDEXX in-house laboratory, advanced anaesthetic monitoring, IV infusion pumps, blood pressure monitoring, tonometry, dedicated surgery and treatment areas, and separate dog and cat wards.
Visiting specialists who assist with more advanced procedures and interesting cases.
Loyal clients who genuinely appreciate high-quality veterinary care.
Thirty-minute veterinary consultations, allowing us to practise thorough, patient-focused medicine.
No after-hours, on-call or public holiday shifts.
Support for continuing education, including CVE and AVA membership.
A workplace where your ideas, growth and wellbeing are valued.

Why we're proud of our clinic

Our clients have been incredibly supportive over the years, and we're honoured to have been finalists in the Sutherland Shire Business Leader Awards every year since 2012.

We've also been recognised as Best Pet Care in both 2015 and 2025, an achievement we're incredibly proud of because it reflects the trust our community places in us.

Sound like your kind of clinic?

If you're looking for more than "just another nursing job" and want to be part of a team that genuinely cares about each other, we'd love to hear from you.
