A highly experienced veterinary nurse is required to join a clinic in the Otago Region of New Zealand.
The role does require the successful nurse to work in a sole charge position.
This is a permanent full-time position offering plenty of variety and the opportunity to take an active role across the day-to-day running of the clinic.
You will be involved in a broad range of clinical duties, including anaesthesia, hospital care, animal handling, cleaning and veterinary nurse consultations. You will also assist with reception duties when required, including greeting clients, booking appointments, processing sales and managing stock. The position includes participation in a shared Saturday roster and after-hours support with another clinic.
Applicants must hold a recognised veterinary nursing qualification at diploma level or above. You will need to communicate confidently with clients, work calmly when priorities change and feel comfortable using computers. An organised, energetic and methodical approach will help you succeed in this varied position.
