Bega & Cobargo Veterinary Hospitals are seeking a passionate Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly mixed practice team on the beautiful Sapphire Coast of New South Wales.
This is a full time position working a four-day week, giving you an extra day to enjoy everything this incredible coastal region has to offer. You'll primarily be involved in small animal nursing, with the opportunity to assist with large animal cases if this interests you. Previous large animal experience is an advantage, but is certainly not essential.
As part of our team, you'll work alongside experienced veterinarians, dedicated reception staff and supportive colleagues in a purpose-built hospital equipped with modern facilities. We see a diverse caseload, from companion animals through to equine, livestock, wildlife and exotics, making this a rewarding role for nurses who enjoy variety.
About the role
- Full time position
- Four-day working week
- Weekday hours of 7:45 am to 6:15 pm
- One in five weekends, consisting of Saturday morning (9:00 am to 12:00 pm) plus shared on-call for the remainder of the weekend
- Primarily small animal nursing, with opportunities to assist with mixed practice cases
- Occasional reception duties only, with dedicated reception staff managing the front desk
