Vets on the River is a boutique small animal clinic located in Brisbane’s western suburbs, less than 10km from the CBD. Established in January 2024 by clinic owner and lead veterinarian, Dr Astrid Loch-Wilkinson, we have quickly built a strong reputation within our local community for exceptional customer service and high-quality veterinary medicine, delivered with compassion and care.
Our purpose-built clinic has been thoughtfully designed with clean, modern and beautifully crafted spaces that are a pleasure to work in. With excellent facilities, modern equipment and a low caseload, you’ll have the time and resources to thoroughly work up cases and deliver high-quality patient care.
At the heart of Vets on the River is our small, close-knit team. We genuinely enjoy working together, having a good laugh and creating a workplace where people feel comfortable being themselves. We value kindness, communication and collaboration, and we are proud of the supportive culture we are building.
We also recognise that life extends well beyond the clinic. Our team members have families, interests and commitments outside of work, and we believe a great workplace should support that. We offer family-friendly hours and strive to create a workplace that allows our team to enjoy a fulfilling life both inside and outside of work.
Although we are still a young practice, we are incredibly proud of what we have established in a short time, and we’re excited about where we’re heading next.
