Veterinary Dermatology Specialists (VDS) is a privately owned specialist veterinary dermatology practice in Osborne Park, Perth, dedicated to improving the comfort and quality of life of pets living with skin, ear, hair, nail and allergy conditions.
Led by specialist veterinary dermatologists Dr Sam Crothers and Dr Fiona Scholz, VDS has built a strong reputation for clinical excellence, innovation and leadership within the veterinary profession. We’re an established and growing practice, but we remain very focused on the individual experience of our patients, their owners and the people who work here.
Fear Free principles are a big part of how we practise. Our team considers a patient’s emotional wellbeing alongside their physical health, with an emphasis on reducing fear, anxiety and stress during veterinary visits. Compassionate care isn’t an extra at VDS. It’s fundamental to the way we approach our patients and their families.
Specialist dermatology brings an interesting mix of medicine, investigation, procedures and long-term patient relationships. Our team manages everything from allergies and chronic skin and ear disease to autoimmune conditions and more complex dermatological cases, supported by advanced diagnostic and treatment options.
