Tooronga Veterinary Hospital is a unique, independently owned veterinary facility in Hawthorn East, Melbourne, bringing general practice, 24/7 emergency care and specialist services together under one roof.
Our purpose-built hospital has been designed to provide an exceptional standard of veterinary care, with state-of-the-art facilities and advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities. Equipment includes a human-grade CT scanner, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, comprehensive in-house pathology and modern surgical facilities, giving our clinical teams access to an impressive range of diagnostic and treatment options on site.
For our general practice team, this creates an environment that goes well beyond the traditional GP clinic. Our caseload spans everything from vaccinations, preventative healthcare and routine surgery through to advanced diagnostics, complex surgical cases and in-depth medical investigations. Being co-located with emergency and specialist services also provides opportunities for collaboration and exposure to a particularly broad range of veterinary medicine.
Our nursing team plays an important clinical role across the hospital, with opportunities to work in hospital nursing, surgical nursing, nurse consultations and alongside veterinarians during consultations.
