About Us
Romsey Veterinary Surgery is a busy mixed animal practice in the Macedon Ranges, caring for companion animals as well as horses and livestock throughout the surrounding region.
We’re a friendly, down-to-earth team who enjoy working together, sharing ideas and helping each other through the challenges that come with veterinary practice. We take our work seriously, but not necessarily ourselves. Good conversation, plenty of coffee and the occasional homemade cake are all part of life at Romsey.
Our Main Street clinic is well equipped for a broad range of companion animal medical and surgical cases, with in-house pathology, digital radiography, ultrasound and dental radiography. Our veterinary nurses are actively involved in clinical nursing and patient care, including consultations, hospital care, surgical procedures, pathology, radiography and post-operative care.
One of the things that makes Romsey distinctive is the breadth of work undertaken by the practice. Alongside our companion animal patients, our vets provide equine and livestock services both in the clinic and out in the surrounding community. It makes for an interesting veterinary environment where there is always plenty happening and no shortage of variety.
Teamwork is a big part of how we operate. We value collaboration, autonomy and professional growth, with opportunities for team members to continue developing their skills through hands-on experience, mentoring and ongoing professional development.
As part of Apiam Animal Health, we also have access to the resources, training and wider support of a large veterinary network, while retaining the personality and community connections of our local Romsey practice.
