About Us
Progressive Vet Care is a family-run small animal practice with purpose-built clinics in Malvern East and Glen Iris, Melbourne. Established in 2015, we’ve continued to grow while maintaining a strong focus on providing thoughtful, individualised veterinary care and keeping up to date with advances in veterinary medicine and technology.
Our team includes experienced veterinarians and veterinary nurses with a broad range of skills and clinical interests. We see a varied general practice caseload and manage a wide range of cases in-house, from routine preventative care and dentistry through to emergency cases, diagnostic imaging and more advanced medical and surgical work. Our vets have particular experience in areas including orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery, ultrasound, cancer care and animal behaviour.
Both clinics are purpose-built and equipped for comprehensive medical and surgical care, with in-house pathology, digital radiography, dental radiography, ultrasound and facilities for hospitalising unwell patients. Our Malvern East clinic also has dedicated indoor cat boarding facilities.
We’re a friendly and approachable team who enjoy working together and sharing our knowledge and skills. We welcome new ideas and want our team members to continue learning and developing professionally. Our nurses are involved across all areas of the practice, including consulting, surgery, hospital care and reception, providing plenty of variety in day-to-day work.
We’re also proud to work with a number of animal welfare and rescue organisations, providing veterinary care to help abandoned animals become healthy and ready for adoption.
