About Us
Park Ridge Animal Hospital and Browns Plains Veterinary Surgery have been caring for pets and their families in the Logan West area for more than 30 years. Independently owned and operated, we've grown into a team of more than 50 people across two practices, giving us the clinical variety and resources of a larger hospital while keeping the personal approach and local decision-making that come with being independent.
We genuinely care about our patients, our clients and each other. Humour, respect, trust and teamwork aren't just words on the wall here. They're an important part of how we work, and we're proud to have created a positive, supportive environment where people can do their jobs well and enjoy coming to work.
Our two locations give the team the best of both worlds. Park Ridge is our larger hospital, while Browns Plains is a smaller surgery, so there's plenty of variety across the working week. Between the two, we see a diverse small animal caseload and have the equipment to support a high standard of medical and surgical care, including ultrasound, dental x-ray, capnography, infusion pumps and patient heating.
Veterinary nurses are an integral part of the clinical team. We want our nurses using their skills, whether that's running nurse consults, monitoring anaesthetics, caring for medical and surgical patients, educating clients or working alongside our vets on the more challenging cases.
We're also big believers in providing structure and support. Documented procedures mean you're not left guessing, while mentoring, regular check-ins and CPD give people the opportunity to keep developing throughout their careers. Experienced team members have plenty to contribute too, and we value people who enjoy sharing their knowledge and helping those around them become better at what they do.
At the end of the day, we're serious about providing excellent veterinary care, but we don't think work needs to feel serious all the time. If you're someone who values high standards, good people, teamwork and a sense of humour, we'd love to get to know you.
