About Us
Lindisfarne Veterinary Clinic is an independent small animal practice located in Lindisfarne, on Hobart’s Eastern Shore.
The clinic was established by Dr Sam Lowther in the 1990s and moved into its current purpose-built veterinary facility in 2002. Today, the practice is owned by Dr Sam Lowther and Dr Brook Legosz and has an experienced team of veterinarians and veterinary nurses.
We’re a family-oriented team and enjoy creating a fun, friendly working environment. With a relatively small team, there’s plenty of opportunity to get involved across different areas of the practice and work closely with both colleagues and clients.
The clinic provides a broad range of medical, diagnostic and surgical services, with facilities including radiography, ultrasonography, clinical pathology and dentistry. The team also undertakes orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery, alongside preventative healthcare and general veterinary medicine.
While dogs and cats make up much of the caseload, we also care for rabbits, guinea pigs, birds and other animals, adding some extra variety to life in the clinic.
For veterinary professionals looking for a friendly, independently owned practice, Lindisfarne Veterinary Clinic offers the opportunity to join an experienced team in a well-equipped clinic that has been part of the local community for many years.
The clinic is open Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6.30 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm.
