About Us
Diamond Valley Veterinary Hospitals operates two busy, independently owned small animal hospitals in Melbourne's leafy north-east. We've been caring for pets in the local community for more than 40 years and have built an experienced team across our Eltham and Montmorency clinics. Several team members have been part of the practice for decades, and we also love welcoming new staff with different skills and perspectives.
A varied and interesting place to work
Our hospitals see a broad small animal caseload, with services spanning general medicine and surgery, dentistry, diagnostic imaging, behavioural care, physiotherapy and acupuncture.
Our team has access to extensive in-house diagnostic equipment, including blood testing, digital and dental radiography, ultrasound and flexible endoscopy. Eltham Central is also an ASAVA accredited veterinary hospital.
For veterinary nurses, this means opportunities to be actively involved in patient care and develop skills across a wide range of clinical work.
A supportive working environment
We want our team to have the support and resources they need to do their jobs well.
Ongoing learning is encouraged through regular staff meetings and training. We also place importance on practical things that make a difference to the working day, including structured lunch breaks, finishing on time and no after-hours work.
Working in Eltham and Montmorency
Both hospitals are located in Melbourne's north-east, an area known for its leafy surrounds, parklands and access to walking and cycling trails, while still being within metropolitan Melbourne.
