About Us
Animals @ Oakey Flat is a small animal veterinary clinic in Morayfield, north of Brisbane, providing general practice care for dogs and cats. We’re a friendly team who value teamwork, compassion and the contribution each person makes to the care of our patients and clients.
Our team includes three veterinarians, an experienced nursing team, reception staff and a dedicated practice manager. We enjoy the variety that comes with general practice, with our clinical work ranging from everyday consultations and preventative healthcare through to dentistry, diagnostics and surgery, including both soft tissue and orthopaedic procedures.
Our nurses are actively involved in patient care, assisting with consultations, procedures and surgery, monitoring hospitalised patients and supporting diagnostic work. We want our nurses to be able to use their skills, continue developing professionally and know that the work they do is genuinely valued.
We also take veterinary care beyond the clinic, providing house-call consultations for pets who may be anxious in a veterinary environment or difficult to transport, along with at-home euthanasia services for families who would prefer to say goodbye to their pet in familiar surroundings.
