About Us
Albury Animal Hospital is an independently owned small animal hospital caring for dogs and cats across the Albury-Wodonga region.
At Albury Animal Hospital, we are passionate about providing high-quality veterinary care and continually developing the skills and capabilities of our team. We want people to feel comfortable contributing ideas, sharing their knowledge and learning from the colleagues around them.
Our experienced team members lead by example, providing practical, hands-on guidance and explaining not just how to do something, but why it matters. We encourage team input and ongoing learning, with everyone contributing to the care we provide and the way our hospital works.
Hospital Director Dr Sally Henry has led the hospital since 2020 and took ownership in 2022. Creating a supportive workplace is important to Sally, alongside providing compassionate, practical care and building lasting relationships with clients.
Our team brings together clinical interests including surgery, internal medicine, dermatology, ultrasound and behavioural medicine. Our work ranges from preventative healthcare and dentistry to medical investigations, surgery, hospitalisation and urgent care. Digital radiography, ultrasound and an in-house laboratory support case investigations and treatment within the hospital.
We also put thought into how our patients experience their care. Our dedicated feline spaces help reduce stress during consultations, treatment and recovery, and the hospital achieved GOLD ISFM cat-friendly accreditation in 2021. We value continuity of care, getting to know our patients and their owners, and taking the time to listen and discuss treatment options.
